Mr. Mutharasu Krishnan is an Advocate & Solicitor at Messrs Azian & Co and co founder of Messrs Azian & Co. Having been with the firm since 1997, he brings extensive experience in legal practice and firm management.

His practice areas include corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, company law, land law, property and real estate transactions, civil litigation, and family matters. He is also a writer and has contributed to the chapter on the Legal Profession in Malaysia, Practice and Ethics. We are pleased to announce that Mr. Mutharasu Krishnan, our esteemed CEO, has been called to the Malaysian Bar and is now serving as an Advocate & Solicitor at Messrs Azian & Co, in addition to his role as the CEO. His inclusion as an Advocate & Solicitor further strengthens our firm’s capabilities, bringing together his extensive legal knowledge and proven leadership skills.

Mr. Mutharasu holds double degrees in law — an LL.B (Hons) from Staffordshire University, United Kingdom, and an LL.B (2nd Class Upper with Honours) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Throughout his career with Messrs Azian & Co, he has attended various specialized courses organized by the Malaysian Bar Council, including Islamic Banking Law, Criminal Trial Advocacy, Civil Cross-Examination Advocacy, and more. These qualifications have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of both conventional and Islamic legal principles, enhancing our firm’s capabilities in serving diverse client needs.

In line with his commitment to continuous professional development, Mr. Mutharasu is currently pursuing a Master’s in Law (LL.M) with a specialization in Business Law. This advanced qualification will further enhance his ability to provide strategic legal advice on complex corporate and financial matters, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of service.
